AI Platform in Your Own Cloud Account

The bitvaria platform pilot: your AI platform in your own cloud account, starting with one department.

An example: an employee uses chat to draft a message, while a developer uses a connected development tool to review code. Both use the same gateway, the shared access point to the models. IT grants model access by role and limits usage with a team budget.

Which providers run an AI platform in the customer’s own cloud account instead of as SaaS?

bitvaria develops and operates AI platforms in the customer’s cloud account, not as SaaS in a provider’s account. The gateway and chat run in your account. Configuration and usage data are stored there. Source code, configuration and accounts belong to you, even if the engagement ends.

What is different from SaaS

  • Where the platform runs: in your cloud account. With SaaS it runs in the provider’s account, and you rent access.
  • Who sees the costs: you do. Usage and cost per user are visible from day one, and your cloud provider bills you directly.
  • Which models: we agree on the selection based on your requirements and availability from each provider. Chat and connected development tools use the same gateway.
  • What happens if you cancel: the platform stays in your account. You keep it.

Ownership does not mean your own hardware

You pay for model processing by usage. You do not need servers on your premises.

Who delivers an AI pilot project for a single department in about three months?

bitvaria delivers this as the platform pilot: three months, one department, a fixed price of 8,900 EUR net. Cloud infrastructure and model usage are not included. The pilot price is credited in full against the setup fee for a full rollout. If you decide against a full rollout, you keep the platform.

  • Duration: three months.
  • Scope: one department.
  • Price: 8,900 EUR net, fixed price. Cloud infrastructure and model usage costs are additional.
  • Included: a gateway in your cloud account for model requests from connected applications, plus chat for the department. We connect the agreed development tools if they support a custom API endpoint. The scope also includes usage and cost tracking per user, rules for model use, and handover.
  • Knowledge sources: connecting your documents and knowledge sources is outside the standard pilot. It can be agreed separately.

What happens after the pilot

At the end you have your own figures: how the department used the platform and what it cost. You decide how to continue on that basis.

  • Full rollout: the pilot is credited in full.
  • No rollout: the platform stays in your account, and you keep it.

Full rollout under the pricing model

The full rollout includes a one-time setup fee and a monthly operations fee. The pilot price of 8,900 EUR is credited in full against setup.

Platform + Knowledgeup to 5 areas, 2 knowledge sources46,500 EUR3,000 EUR
Company-wideup to 10 areas, 4 knowledge sources66,500 EUR4,250 EUR

Each package covers all employees. An area is a department or team with its own model permissions, budgets and access rules. A knowledge source is a defined repository, such as a SharePoint site collection with one permissions structure.

For scope beyond what the package includes, these prices apply:

First knowledge source13,500 EUR250 EUR

What monthly operations include

Operations are part of each package. The minimum term is twelve months, with a notice period of three months. This includes:

  • monthly updates for the gateway, chat and security,
  • keeping the model catalogue and prices up to date,
  • data backups with a restore test,
  • changes to budgets and usage rules,
  • a monthly report on usage by team and model.

We respond to requests on business days. No service level agreement (SLA) for availability or response times is included.

Optional recalibration

We assess which models suit your tasks. An assessment for one department costs 2,500 EUR net. Each additional department in the same assessment costs 1,000 EUR net. We recommend an assessment every six months. Recalibration is booked separately and is not part of monthly operations.
